Shuttle to make round trips to Kaiser in Woodland Hills

Shuttle transportation from T.O. to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Woodland Hills will begin Thurs., Feb. 1.

Primarily a service for Conejo Valley seniors, the shuttle will operate three round trips per day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Senior Concerns, a private, nonprofit social services agency based in Thousand Oaks, will manage the service under a threeyear federal grant administered by the city of Thousand Oaks Transportation Department and the Ventura County Transportation Commission. A nine-passenger, wheelchair-accessible bus will be provided by Roadrunner Shuttle.

The regular round-trip fare is $20. The fee for a physicianapproved caregiver accompanying the passenger will be $10.

The shuttle will leave the Senior Concerns facility at 401 Hodencamp Road at 8:15 and 10:15 a.m. and 12:20 p.m., and return from Kaiser at 9:10 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., with a brief stop at the Warner Center Transit Hub in Woodland Hills.
