Volleyball refs sought

The Channel Coast Volleyball Officials Association will have its first meeting for those wishing to officiate high school games during the upcoming spring season, which begins in late February.

The association referees games in Ventura and westernmost Los Angeles counties. New volleyball officials including college students are welcome.

A meeting will be held Mon., Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ron Halt Community Room at the Ventura Adult Education Facility, located at 5200 Valentine Road in Ventura. Visitors are being asked to park in the rear of the building. All training will be provided.
