Affordable housing discussed

A presentation and discussion about affordable housing in Ventura County will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Mon., Feb. 5 in the meeting room at Esseff Village, 1423 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

American Association of University Women will host a panel of speakers and a viewing of the short documentary, "Mi Casa es Su Casa." Lowcost housing issues and housing for farm and service workers in Ventura County will be discussed.

Speakers include Jessica Arciniega, coordinator of House Farm Workers; Vanessa Frank Garcia, staff attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance Inc.; and Rick Schroeder, executive director of Many Mansions.

Refreshments will be served.
