STANDING FOR A CAUSE- Ed Calaba, an attorney from Newbury Park and a veteran of the Vietnam War, participates in a protest with about 120 other people opposing the president's call to send more troops to Iraq. The demonstration occurred last Thursday night at the intersection of Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive. The cold weather didn't help turnout, organizers said.
