When to call 911 to report a suspected drunk driver
According to the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the following clues can help
motorists detect a drunk driver: +Appears to be drunk or drinking in the car.
+Almost strikes another object or vehicle and weaves or zigzags across the road.
+Turns abruptly or illegally or drives 10 mph or more below the speed limit.
+Follows others too closely, drifts or moves in a straight line but at an angle.
+Drives into opposing or crossing traffic or drives with headlights off. +Brakes
erratically.
