Riders should clean up after their horses I know that T.O. has long been an equestrian community, but I find it repulsive to come on great piles of horse droppings on the streets and sidewalks. I diligently clean up after my dog, but horse riders do not extend the same courtesy. I live on a street that leads to equestrian trails, and I think when a horse drops his load on the street, the rider should make the effort to come back and clean it up. Otherwise, we drive over it and track it into our garage.
Why should horse riders be exempt, when there's a city ordinance to clean up after your dog? Jacqueline A.
