Teens invited to New Year's party

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center will present a New Year's Eve celebration for seventh- and eighth-graders from 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Mon., Dec. 31 at the center, 1375 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

School ID will be required, and the dress code will be enforced.

Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ SLiK. Also featured will be a light and laser show, a live band, raffles, free pizza and an open soda bar.

Party hats, confetti and noisemakers will be provided, and the festivities will include a countdown and balloon drop. Group or couple photos will be available.
