The Conejo Valley YMCA's Healthy Families Day and Open House, set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 5, 2008, needs healthrelated vendors for the health fair portion of the event.

Qualified vendors must be able to provide information to the public on spiritual, mental, physical or nutritional health. There's no fee.

"We're seeking approximately 20 health-related vendors," said Janelle Achenbach, Conejo Valley YMCA membership and fitness director.

Besides vendors, the day will feature games, activities and programs for kids, including a climbing wall and bounce house, tours of the facilities, and membership and program sign-ups. "A $45 discount will be given to all those who join the Y on Jan. 5," said Achenbach.

The Conejo Valley YMCA is at 4031 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks. Open houses will also be held at the Simi Valley Family YMCA and the Miller Family YMCA in Dos Vientos on that day.
