Julie Rohde Julie Rohde Julie Rohde Receptionist

"I believe we should be kind to people. Churches and compassionate people should help the homeless find jobs and help with food and shelter, but I don't think the city should. I think it is up to churches and people with compassion to help the homeless."

"If they're homeless they are probably out of work. The city can help them become employable so they can afford housing."

Narges Naghdi-Bucci Writer

"Of course the city should do more to help the homeless. The city should open a fund to take care of the homeless. People can donate $5 or $10 a month to the fund, and we can take care of the homeless people who live here so they are not out in the rain or cold."

Kristin Rogers Homemaker

"It seems if we provide a shelter, that would encourage more people to move in. What we need is adequate low-income homes and temporary boarding shelters. I know someone who is homeless. Sometimes it's a circumstance people can't control. Others choose to be homeless."
