Malibu residents will bring forgotten carols to Thousand Oaks

The musical "The Forgotten Carols" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Dec. 21 in the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The show was written by and stars Malibu resident Michael McLean.

According to show organizers, "The Forgotten Carols" tells the story of "a nurse who is too practical to be bothered by Christmas until one of her patients walks her through the untold carols of the more 'forgotten' characters in the Christmas story. Through these carols and her new friendship with an 'unlikely' patient, the young nurse comes to find the Christmas carol waiting to be sung inside her own heart."
