Employment Ministry begins

St. Maximilian Catholic Church will host a "Get Ready for 2008" kickoff meeting of the Employment Ministry from 10 a.m. to noon Sat., Dec. 15 in room 2 at the church, 5801 Kanan Road, Westlake Village.

The ministry is for people seeking employment or those who have suffered recent job layoffs.

The meeting will explain the ministry's mission, help people understand the community's employment needs, prepare a schedule of events, solicit volunteers and provide networking opportunities

All are welcome. Bring ideas, suggests and questions.
