YMCA serves pancakes

The 42nd annual Conejo Valley YMCA Pancake Breakfast is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon Sun., Dec. 9 at the Conejo Valley YMCA, 4031 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

The event is sponsored by the YMCA and the Y's Men's Club.

The cost is $4, and the community is welcome.

More than 1,000 allyoucaneat breakfasts of pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee will be served. An appearance by Santa Claus is anticipated.

Proceeds from the breakfast benefit YMCA Indian programs and the Conejo Valley Y's Men's Club.

Children in the Y Indians program are selling tickets in advance, and tickets may be purchased at the door.
