      The following people were recently called to the Torah at Temple Etz Chaim, 1080 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks: Joshua Yazdizadeh was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Oct. 20. He's the son of Kimberly and Fred Yazdizadeh of Thousand Oaks and an eighth-grader at Los Cerritos Middle School.
