Kingston Trio coming to Pepperdine

Pepperdine University Center for the Arts will present the Kingston Trio's Christmas Show at 8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 8 at the Malibu campus' Smothers Theatre, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu.

Trio members George Grove, Bill Zorn and Rick Dougherty will accompany themselves on banjo and guitar as they sing holiday songs- many from the 1960 Kingston Trio Christmas album, "The Last Month of the Year"- in addition to songs the trio is know for, such as "Tom Dooley" and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?"
