Outlook: This game carries major playoff implications.

If they lose, Agoura is out of the postseason hunt. Even if they win, AHS still needs help, particularly from Newbury Park in its game against Thousand Oaks (see page 49 for tiebreaker scenarios).

Calabasas will be playing for respect. Since ending their long losing streak against Channel Islands on Sept. 20, the Coyotes have been outscored 221-45 in seven league contests.

When the teams played a year ago at Calabasas, the Coyotes put in a valiant effort before eventually falling 37-30. The Coyotes led at halftime in that game. If AHS lets Calabasas hang around, they could be in trouble.

Moorpark (6-3) at Westlake (6-3)

Outlook: Stop me if you've heard this before, but this game carries major playoff implications.

With a victory, Westlake assures itself at least a share of the Marmonte League championship. WHS can take the title outright with a win and a Newbury Park loss at Thousand Oaks.

Moorpark can get in the title hunt, too. They need a win and a TOHS victory to force a four-way tie for first.

This matchup features two of the league's best running backs in Westlake's Cooper Shockley and Moorpark's Austin Edmonson.

The quarterbacks aren't bad, either. Moorpark is led by Adam Barry, while Westlake relies on the pinpoint accuracy of Nick Owens.
