The Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477 will sponsor a hoop shoot contest from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 10 at Sequoia Middle School, 2855 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

Children ages 8 to 13 are eligible to participate in the freethrow contest, best of 25 shots.
