FamilyCare Cottages recently held the grand opening of their new assisted-living home at 820 Calle Cedro in Thousand Oaks.

This is the first of several homes which the company is planning to launch in the Conejo Valley during the upcoming months.

FamilyCare Cottages' coexecutive administrator Lisa LoCascio said, "Our core philosophy is to foster the body, mind and spirit of our residents by keeping them involved and connected with the world around them. LoCascio is a Conejo Valley resident and registered nurse who formerly worked at the UCLA trauma center.

Co-executive administrator Debra Sadezwicz has more than two decades of experience in healthcare administration.
