Team from Redwood finishes first

On Sat., Oct. 20, the Redwood Middle School eighthgrade girls' volleyball team came in first place at the La Reina Middle School Volleyball Tournament.

After 10 matches, Redwood beat Los Cerritos in a tight championship contest.

The top four finishers in the tournament were Redwood, Los Cerritos, La Reina and Chaminade.

Redwood team members include Halley Weinstock, Jessica Dorthalina, Courtney Kilbane, Hannah Porter, Summer Esseff, Kaylie Snider, Lauren Parris, Maddi Waddell, Rebecca Lamp, Lissa Zingerman, Sarah Park, Ellie Tressel, Rachel Cookus and Carrie Kimble.
