Financial Solutions Services educates people on how credit repair can save thousands of dollars or more throughout a lifetime. Financial Solution Services conducts free weekly credit repair workshops at the FSS office at 28632 Roadside Drive, Ste. 145, Agoura Hills.

FSS credit expert Dr. Alan Rosenthal discusses the importance of raising FICO scores to increase creditworthiness. He said, "Anyone with a credit score of 720 or below can benefit longterm from the advice and information provided through credit repair."

In the workshops, Rosenthal discusses the five areas that make up a FICO score, what helps and what hurts a score, the levels of delinquencies, debt ratios, why never to close credit cards, how and why inquiries affect credit scores and other advice.

According to the Government Accountability Office, 80 to 90 percent of credit reports have serious errors on them. Mistakes can cost thousands of dollars in unnecessary interest over the length of a loan. FSS aims to make restoring personal credit as simple a process as possible.

The company works with creditors and the three credit bureaus to remove derogatory records from a credit history by mail and by phone.
