Turkey Day Dash to help YMCA

The Conejo Valley and the Miller Family YMCAs are hosting the third annual Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving morning, Thurs., Nov. 22.

Preregistrations are underway now, and dayof registration begins at 7 a.m. at Dos Vientos Community Park, 4801 Borchard Road in Newbury Park.

The 5K run begins at 8 a.m. and the 1K family fun run/walk at 9:15 a.m.

The cost is $25 for preregistration before Sat., Nov. 10 and $30 on the day of the race. The family rate is $50 for preregistration or $60 on race day for immediate family members only. All participants will receive a Turkey Day Dash YMCA T-shirt.

Proceeds will help to support YMCA programs and to provide financial assistance for families and seniors to participate in YMCA activities.

Conejo Valley YMCA is at 4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks and the Miller Family YMCA is at 320 Via Las Brisas, Newbury Park.
