Blotter Thousand Oaks The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 40, at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 4 at Los Robles Hospital (following a traffic collision on Olsen Road, north of Moopark Road); a male, 30, at 10:45 p.m. Oct. 6 at Janss Road and the 23 Freeway; a male, 27, at 2:17 a.m. Oct. 7 on the southbound 101 Freeway between Lynn and Moopark roads; a male, 24, at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 8 at Avenida de Las Flores and Avenida de Las Plantas; a male, 41, at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 9 at Calle Clavel and Calle Jazmin; and a male, 55, at 11:37 p.m. Oct. 9 at Erbes and Monte Carlo Drive. For suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a female, 31, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 45, was similarly arrested at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 6 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. He was also cited for drinking alcohol in public. A male, 19, was arrested in Pasadena on suspicion of battery and for felony vandalism on Oct. 4 regarding incidents in the 1300 block of El Monte Drive that may have occurred on Sept. 28. Vehicles were burglarized in the following incidents: Several breakins the night of Oct. 1, in the 1400 block of Calle De Oro, in the 3600 block of Corte de Los Reyes and in the 1600 block of Corte de Acero; between Oct. 5 and 7 in the 5500 block of S. Rim Street; the afternoon of Oct. 8 in the 500 block of Canyon; and the evening of Oct. 9 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue. A male, 26, was arrested for shoplifting in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road at 5:01 p.m. Oct. 4. For suspicion of burglarizing more than 10 apartments at two different complexes in T.O., a male, 20, was arrested at the Main Jail in Ventura where he was already in custody at 8 a.m. Oct. 8. For public intoxication, a male, 19, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 1800 block of Rutgers Drive. A male, 18, was cited and released for possession of alcohol at 9 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road. In the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road at 7:43 p.m. Oct. 7, a male, 22, was arrested for shoplifting and for giving false information to a police officer. A male, 18, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 1000 block of St. Charles Place after he had been observed trying to gain entry to a vehicle in the 600 block. He was also in possession of several credit cards that didn't belong to him. A known suspect allegedly was intoxicated on several occasions between Sept. 24 and Oct. 8 and unable to care for his children. He was taken into custody at 1:45 p.m. Oct. 8. A male, 45, allegedly stole and fraudulently used a gasoline station credit card on Oct. 9. The credit card was used in the 100 block of Rancho Road. The arrest was made in Lake Sherwood. For possession of a glass smoking pipe, a male, 37, was cited and released at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 10 on Avenida de Los Arboles and Moorpark Road. Between 10:45 and 11:15 a.m. Oct. 11, somebody stole more than $400 worth of valuables from a male, 52, in the 1800 block of Mesa Ridge Avenue. In the 500 block of Laurie Lane between 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and 10 a.m. Oct. 6, somebody intentionally damaged a sliding glass door. The damage exceeded $400. Known and unknown suspects stole keys from an unlocked vehicle at 1:08 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Four tires were slashed on Oct. 6 or 7 in the 1600 block of Tiburon Court. Somebody stole jewelry in the 4400 block of Deer Haven Court between Sept. 1 and Oct. 4. A restaurant restroom was vandalized in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 11:59 p.m. Oct. 7 and 4:46 a.m. Oct. 8. The damage was estimated at $300. Clothing was stolen from a store in The Oaks on Oct. 7. An unknown quantity of electric guitars and a refrigerator were stolen from a storage container in the 300 block of Conejo Ridge Avenue on Oct. 7 or 8. Somebody tried to break into and burglarize a home in the 5700 block of Starwood Court between Oct. 5 and 8. Between Sept. 1 and Oct. 9 in the 100 block of Memorial Parkway, a known suspect allegedly threatened a victim with a glass bottle and a table on two separate occasions. Somebody allegedly violated a restraining order by entering the victim's yard and coming within 10 feet of the victim on Oct. 10 in the 100 block of Tennyson Street. A incident of vandalism occurred in the 200 block of Green Lea Place on Oct. 10 and a suspect was identified. For drinking alcoholic beverages in public, the following subjects were cited and released at the times, dates and places shown: A male, 50, at 3 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 41, at 5 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, age unavailable, at 2:35 p.m. Oct. 4 in Parque de La Paz; and a female, 38, at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 5 at Rancho Road and T.O. Boulevard. Newbury Park At 9:29 p.m. Oct. 5 in the 2700 block of Camino Dos Rios, a male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a substance believed to be cocaine, for selling it and for transporting it for purposes of selling it. Arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance were a male, 19, at 9:29 p.m. Oct. 5 (also cited for possession of a substance believed to be cocaine, possession of a weighing scale and possession of a large amount of cash) in the 2700 block of Camino Dos Rios; and a male, 20, at 10 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road (after he was observed looking into the interior of several parked vehicles). After he was observed hitting golf balls at other people at Peppertree Park and then trying to evade arrest by fleeing on a bicycle, a male, 21, was at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 6 arrested at Reino Road and Old Conejo Road for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Several vehicles were broken into and burglarized on the night of Oct. 5 in the 300 block of Greenway Court. A known suspect allegedly entered a grocery store in the 2100 block of Newbury Road the evening of Oct. 10, gathered several items and departed the store without attempting to pay for them. The suspect then loaded the items in a waiting vehicle, which was driven by a second suspect. Ten minutes later, the same two suspects allegedly hit another supermarket in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road. The shoplifter then allegedly kicked, hit and punched a security guard while trying to evade arrest. He was arrested at 10 p.m. in the first block of Beatty Place. The driver was arrested in the grocery store parking lot. On Oct. 8 in the 500 block of Reino Road, somebody tried to steal something from a grocery store. Flood control tunnel walls were marred with graffiti the afternoon of Oct. 10 along the 101 Freeway near Rancho Conejo Boulevard. A vehicle was keyed and tires were deflated between Oct. 6 and 8 in the 300 block of Giant Oak Drive. In the 700 block of Cayo Grande Court, eggs were thrown at a car between 11 and 11:15 p.m. Oct. 5. Somebody attacked a male, 18, on Oct. 3 in the 2700 block of Borchard Road, leaving the victim with multiple cuts and scrapes. Police RSS feed |
