The Ojai Art Center Theater, a nonprofit community ensemble, will present its annual One Act Festival on Sept. 21 through 30 of seven short pieces culled from the Humana Festival of New American Plays based in Kentucky.

The plays are "Misreadings," "Beauty," "Double Take," "Marred Bliss," "Executive Dance" and "The American Century." The shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students, seniors and Art Center members.
