Housing sales still sluggish

July sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 142.

This compares to 148 sold in June and 156 a year ago, according to Allen Reznick, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

Median sales price for singlefamily homes in July was $824,324; in 2006 it was $850,000. The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in July were $179 million. Last year the total was $188.3 million.
