      Before any team wins a championship, there always seems to be another team that blocks its path. For the current Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts, that team was the New England Patriots. For the Brooklyn Dodgers, it was always the New York Yankees.

Volleybalsign-ups ongoing
      The United States Youth Volleyball League is accepting registration for its fall season, which begins Wed., Sept. 12, at Poindexter Park in Moorpark. Practices are on Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Games take place on Saturday mornings. No experience is necessary to play.
