Rebekah Solomon will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Sat., Sept. 1 at Temple Etz Chaim.

She's an eighth-grade honor student at Los Cerritos Middle School and the daughter of Janeen and Jeffrey Solomon of Thousand Oaks.

Laila Hanig was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Aug. 11 at Temple Etz Chaim. She is the daughter of Laurie and Les Hanig of Thousand Oaks and an eighth-grade student at Los Cerritos Middle School.

Temple Etz Chaim is at 1080 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
