Landowner should forfeit his property for the public good

For almost 14 months I've been making attempts to convince a developer to set aside its wetland property in Newbury Park.

I've written the developer explaining that the issue isn't a political one but rather a matter of the people, the future and the land itself.

I made a point to explain that we here in the Conejo Valley have a long-standing tradition when it comes to land conservation and recreation.

At last count, the property has almost 25 species of plants, animals and insects.

If this issue concerns those who read this, they may consider writing the developer at Shato Holdings, 128 Auburn Court, Westlake Village, CA 91362. Clint Matkovich Thousand Oaks
