The Conejo Recreation and Park District board of directors periodically honors deserving Conejo Valley athletes with the Young Athlete Recognition Award. Residents are invited to submit nominations for the award.

Nominees must be 18 years of age or younger and reside in the Conejo Recreation and Park District.

The recipient is honored in front of family and friends at a board meeting and receives a medallion.
