Satwiwa to feature flute tunes inspired by nature

An outdoor story hour and flute recital by Bill "Elk Whistle" Neal will be presented from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sat., July 28 at the Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center at Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa at Lynn Road and Via Goleta in Newbury Park.

Neal plays Plains-style cedar flutes and river cane flutes from various American Indian cultures.

His music is inspired by the sounds of nature.

He's a storyteller, recording artist and the director of the Elk Whistle Ensemble.
