After 18 years managing properties while affiliated with a major Conejo Valley real estate company, local Realtor Ronald Ormsby has opened his own property management office in Westlake Village.

"Many rental property owners could benefit from professional property management," said Ormsby. "Some owners have difficulties because of numerous factors, including unfamiliarity with landlord/tenant laws, getting too involved personally with tenants, inadequate property maintenance and out-of-date market knowledge, or lack of market access, to name just a few."

Ormsby's experience includes real estate office management, new home sales, and leasing and property management in Indiana and Texas as well as California. In Indiana, Ormsby participated as a partner in a nonprofit housing corporation involved with acquiring and rehabilitating housing for rental under the federal Section 8 housing program. He currently manages properties in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Simi Valley, Moorpark and Calabasas.
