Dilbeck Realtors Learn The Ins And Outs Of Short Sales

Hosted by Ambassador Capital Mortgage, the event featured guest panelists. Bonnie Strassmann, manager of Dilbeck's Sherman Oaks office with more than 30 years in real estate, is an expert in short sales. Joining Strassman was Mona Rose, Dilbeck's vice president and general counsel, and Joe Carroll, first vice president of Metrocities Mortgage LLC.

More than 250 agents attended and listened to the process of how short sales work, including negotiating, how to take control, working with the lenders and purchase agreements. Although most agents knew much of the information offered, they all agreed that a refresher course is a good idea, plus there have been some changes over the past couple of years. "So, whether you are an experienced pro or a rookie just starting out, everyone in attendance agreed that they walked away a little smarter," said Luis Malaga, president of Ambassador Capital Mortgage.
