Democratic National Committee member Mary Ellen Early will speak at the Conejo Valley Democrats meeting at 7 p.m. Wed., July 11 at Mae Boyar Park in the after-school room, 139 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park.

The topic will be "The nuts and bolts of the party."

Early has served as a delegate at each convention since 1992, is a member of the Western States Caucus and serves on the executive board of the DNC Women's Caucus.
