DARE tells lies about marijuana
2007-06-28 / Letters
One reason DARE (Drug Abuse Awareness Education) fails throughout North America ("Thanks, T.O., for preserving DARE for as long as you did," June 7, Thousand Oaks Acorn) is due to its luciferous stand against the God-given plant cannabis.
Isn't there a conflict of interest when DARE officers teach that cannabis- marijuana/the devil weed- is bad, and God indicates He created all the seedbearing plants, saying they're all good, on literally the very first page of the Bible (see Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30)?
Young people don't respect police or laws the same, once they realize they've been lied to. Stan White Dillon, Colo.
