Stage Door Theatre in Agoura Hills is seeking a male actor for the cast of "The Tender Trap," now in rehearsal.

The role is for supporting character Earl Lindquist, age 25 to 30.

The show is a romantic comedy set in 1950s New York. The character is the head of a lab that tests new pharmaceuticals. He's in love with his lab assistant, Julie, but is awkward with girls.

The show runs Aug. 10 through Sept. 15. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sun. Aug. 12 and 26, and Sept. 9.
