CLASS finishes sixth in Ventura

CLASS Aquatics scored 1795.5 points to grab a sixthplace combined finish at the Southern California Swimming June Age Group Invitational.

The CLASS girls' squad took fourth with 1044.5 points, and the boys were seventh with 751 points.

Aislinn Smalling of Westlake High won four girls' events. Oaks Christian's Chase Bloch was second in five boys' races.

The swim meet was held at Ventura Community Park Aquatics Center on June 21-24. Fortythree teams competed, including powerhouses Canyons and Mission Viejo, as well as teams from Arizona and Texas.
