Janss hosts fireworks

The Janss Marketplace will host a Fireworks Spectacular from 4 to 10 p.m. Wed., July 4 at Moopark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.

The first 2,000 guests will be admitted to the parking structure rooftop, and the fountain courtyard area will also provide entertainment and activities.

Peace Frogs, a Doors tribute band, will perform from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the rooftop, and Early McAlister will play in the courtyard from 6 to 8 p.m.

Other activities include face painting, balloon art, live DJ, temporary tattoos, giveaways, bounce houses and merchant booths. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.
