In observance of Independence Day, employees of Newbury Disposal will be taking the day off on Wed., July 4.

As a result, rubbish collection next week will be one day late for customers who normally get Wednesday, Thursday or Friday pickups.

The company will maintain its regular schedule for customers who have their trash and recyclables collected on Monday or Tuesday.
