Panthers get a check


A WIN-WIN- Artie Maidman, left, owner of local sandwich shop Jersey Mike's Subs, presents a check in the amount of $1,687 for Newbury Park High School athletics to NPHS athletic director Josh Eby. The funds were raised during Jersey Mike's grand opening, when patrons redeemed free coupons by making a $1 donation to Newbury Park High School athletics. Jersey Mike's is at 1610 Newbury Road, Newbury Park.
