Article At 2 p.m. June 13 at Calle Turquesa and Paseo Esmeralda, a male, 22, was arrested for selling methamphetamine and for possession of cocaine. A male, 36, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine at 8:29 p.m. June 1 on the 101 Freeway at Ventu Park Road. For attempting to send harmful matter to a juvenile, a male, 33, was arrested in the 1500 block of Newbury Road at 4:45 p.m. June 8. For suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and for passing counterfeit money, a female, 45, was arrested on May 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A male, 23, allegedly battered his wife and was arrested at 2:03 p.m. June 6 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda. For selling bootlegged CDs, a male, 27, was arrested at 5:27 p.m. June 6 at Avenida Del Platino and Calle Turquesa. A male, 25, was at 4 p.m. June 8 arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
A female,, 33, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs at 4:20 p.m. June 9 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road. At 1:30 a.m. June 10 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte, a male, 18, was arrested for public intoxication after deputies responded to a complaint about a prowler. Accused of shoplifting at Kohl's at 2:46 p.m. June 10, a male, 29, was arrested. For theft of embezzled merchandise valued at less than $400, a male employee, 24, was recently cited and released at Target. The incidents allegedly occurred over a one-month period. Known suspects allegedly stole property from a house they were renting on May 9 in the 300 block of Capitan Street. A dwelling in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive was burglarized on June 8 between 3 and 9:10 a.m. No signs of forced entry were observed. Someone tried to illegally enter an Orangewood Avenue home between 5:40 and 8:50 p.m. June 8. Property was stolen from a business on June 8 or 9 in the 2500 block of Calcite Circle. A yellow Labrador puppy was stolen from a backyard in the 400 block of Via Helena the night of June 9. Petty theft occurred at a store in the 1900 block of Newbury Road at 2:10 p.m. June 10. Thousand Oaks A male was taken into custody after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 11:19 p.m. June 4 in the 500 block of Irving Drive. For possession of stolen property, a male, 33 was arrested at 8:29 p.m. June 1 at an unspecified location in T.O. Vandalism involving a loss of $200 occurred in the 200 block of Hampshire Road the night of May 31. A digital camera was stolen between May 27 and 31 from a business in the 100 block of Wilbur Road. At 5:50 p.m. May 31 in the 2000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a male, 30, was cited and released for possession of marijuana. Following a noninjury hit and run accident at Wilbur Road and Laurie Lane, a male, 25, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. May 22. An 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 11:29 p.m. May 14. The arrest occurred, however, in the 1800 block of Newbury Road. A male, 23, was cited and released for domestic battery at 10:30 a.m. May 1. The incident report was only recently made available to the press; the arrest was made at East Valley Station. A male, 18, was cited and released for possession of marijuana at 9:58 a.m. May 29 at Hillcrest and Rancho Conejo Boulevard. A female, 32, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. June 7 for using someone's personal information without consent on April 27 regarding an incident in the 1500 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard. For battery, a male, 40, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. June 4 in the 2900 block of Eagle's Claw Avenue. During a probation search at noon June 7 in the 2200 block of Moss Court, a male, 32, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing syringes and stolen property. For kicking another person's car, a male, 39, was arrested on June 7 in a Hillcrest Drive parking lot. For stealing groceries and on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a female, 22, was arrested on June 7 I the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road. A 32-year-old person of unknown gender was arrested on June 12 on suspicion of stealing and forging an employer's checks in the 3100 block of Willow Lane. The arrest occurred in Ventura. For drinking alcohol in public at 5:30 p.m. June 8 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive, a male, 36, was arrested. Cited and released for drinking from a 40-ounce bottle of beer in public at 10 p.m. June 8 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive was a male, 40. Suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and for possession of methamphetamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana and a glass smoking pipe, a male, 23, was at 9:52 p.m. June 8 arrested on the 23 Freeway northbound connector at Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Dangerous weapons including two daggers were found in the bedroom of a male, 46, at 10 a.m. June 9 I the 800 block of Sheffield Place. For possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and various other controlled substances, a male, 30, was arrested at noon June 9 in the 600 block of Brossard Drive. For drinking in public at 6 p.m. June 9, a female, 38; a male, 36; and a female, 25, were cited in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A male, 31, was arrested for shoplifting and for falsely identifying himself at 6:21 p.m. June 9 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. In response to a domestic disturbance a female, 38, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. June 10. The scene was the 700 block of Wakefield, but the arrest was made in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. A male in the 3100 block of Carlton Drive allegedly hit another person with a golf club and threatened to kill the victim at 6:28 p.m. June 10. At Northwood Parkway and Pederson Road at 10:45 p.m. June 10, a male, 37, allegedly vandalized a vehicle by hitting it several times with his fists. For possession of a prescription drug that wasn't prescribed to him, a male, 18, was cited and released at Calle Bouganvilla and Park Oaks Elementary at 6:46 p.m. June 11. A male, 62, was cited and released for discharging a firearm within city limits at 10:50 p.m. June 11 in the 1200 block of Coventry Drive. For trespassing and refusing to leave a location where he was found sleeping at 8:25 a.m. June 12 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road, a male, 39, was arrested. A male, 43, was cited for vandalism at 8:15 p.m. June 12 in the 1900 block of Shady Brook Drive. An incident of graffiti vandalism occurred at Colina Middle School on June 7 or 8. A retaining wall's cinder blocks were vandalized between June 4 and 7 in the 2600 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. Someone stole groceries and was caught at a supermarket in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road the afternoon of June 7. A vehicle in the 100 block of Overton was broken into and burglarized between 3:30 and 5 p.m. June 7. A theft occurred between 5:20 and 6:30 a.m. recently at a fitness center in the 100 block of S. Moorpark Road. Jewelry was stolen in the 600 block of Racquet Club Lane between Nov. 1 and June 8. Someone was caught shoplifting at Mervyn's the afternoon of June 8. Stoney Brook Homeowners' Association was vandalized ($2,500 damage) between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. June 8.' Between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. June 9 in the 2700 block of Queens Garden Court, an unlocked home was burglarized. A known suspect "head butted" a victim at 1:20 a.m. June 10 in the 1100 block of El Monte. Doors were vandalized with paint at Glenwood Elementary School sometime between June 9 and 11. Cash- $70- was stolen from a dwelling in the 2500 block of Whitechapel Place the morning of June 6. A spray-paint graffiti incident occurred the night of June 11 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road. Computers were stolen between June 9 and 11 from an office in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. No signs of forced entry were observed. Someone stole car keys in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road at 10:30 p.m. June 11 and then took $102 from a purse inside the vehicle. In the 2800 block of Ladbrook Way, a home was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. June 12. Property was vandalized in the 1900 block of Shady Brook Drive on June 12. Someone tried to enter an apartment in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive by removing a screen window between 5:20 and 5:40 a.m. June 13. A male, 24, was battered by unknown suspect(s) at 9:08 p.m. June 13 in the 1400 block of N. Moorpark Road. Two suspects were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at the times and places indicated: a female, 19, 8:30 p.m. June 4 in the 600 block of Avenida de Las Flores; and a male, 21, 1:59 a.m. June 7 at Valley High and Shaw. Westlake/T.O. At 6:30 p.m. June 5, a woman, 39, from Illinois checked into Hyatt Westlake Plaza. As she entered her room, a male suspect followed her and demanded her wallet and cash. He fled with $140 cash. The victim wasn't injured. The suspect, 20 to 30 years old (see surveillance photo at right above) was described as 6 feet tall, muscular, with a dark complexion and slickeddown black hair, wearing a blue and white button-down shirt with dark trousers.
