Local entertainers will perform at Aspen Summer Party at The Canyon
      The second annual Aspen Summer Party is scheduled for Sat., June 30 at The Canyon club. Doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner and 7 p.m. for general admission. The event is sponsored by E. Legal Records, a Ventura Countybased independent record label, to help promote the careers of local musicians and entertainers.

Gardens of the World to host patriotic concert
      The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West will perform a concert of patriotic music from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tues., July 3 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Sponsored by the Hogan Family Foundation Inc., the concert will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force.

Japanese dance program
      The Azuma School of Dance will present a program of traditional Japanese dance at 2:30 p.m. Sun., June 24 at the Thousand Oaks High School performing arts center, 2323 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Thirty-six dancers ranging in age from 4 to adult will perform in traditional costumes. Light refreshments will be served after the performance.
