Home Depot representatives Mark Tutino and Rick Greene stated in the May17 edition of the Thousand Oaks Acorn that 5,500 mailers and posters announced a Home Depot-orchestrated meeting on Sat., May 12.

I live less than a mile from the site, and no one on my street or the surrounding area ever heard about a meeting or received a flier. Where were the posters sent? Where were the mailers delivered?

If only a dozen people were in attendance, what does that tell you? If you believe that 5,500 notices were out there, I have a bridge I would like to sell. I came from the corporate world, and I know about the ploys these people construct. Robert Pisapia Westlake Village
