A grand theft and grand thefauto arrest was made at 5 p.m. May 22 in the 3700 block of Auto MalDrive. A male, 56, was taken into custody.

An allegation of grand theft by access card was the cause for arresof a male, 47, in the 1000 block oBrushill Road at 3:10 p.m. May 21.

During a traffic accideninvestigation, a male, 33, was arrested for allegedly driving without a license at 4:20 p.m. May 16 at Hillcrest Drive and Avenida de la Plata.

After a traffic accident, a female19, was arrested at 2:18 a.m. May 17 at Westlake Boulevard and Southport Drive for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

An officer recently observed a woman driving a car with two children in the backseat on the 23 Freeway median appearing to be making a U-turn to go southbound near the Janss Road offrampThrough a translator, she is said to have told the officer her baby was crying and she wanted to give hea pacifier right away. The woman35, was cited for driving without a license. A California Highway Patroofficer gave the mother and children a ride off the freeway.

A male, 37, allegedly placed property inside a bag designed to conceal merchandise and left a store in the 200 block of Hillcrest Drive without paying at 2:49 p.m. May 17. He was charged with a felony after a citizen's arrest was made.

A female, 20, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. May 17 in the 2400 block of La Granada Drive on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and alleged possession of stolen property.

A male, 51, is suspected of battering a victim and was charged with a misdemeanor at 7:30 p.m. May 17 in the 900 block of Calle Ruiz.

At 7:55 a.m. May 18 a male, 22, was arrested on the 23 Freeway near Sunset Hills Drive on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle and involvement in a hit and run accident in Moorpark. A male passenger, 19, was also arrested on grand theft auto charges.
