All-American concert set for Memorial Day
      The AllAmerican Boys Chorus will perform in a free concerat 5 p.m. Memorial Day, Mon.May 28, at Conejo Community Park, Dover and Hendrix avenues in Thousand Oaks. Wesley Martin is the chorus director. The group will perform in the park's natural amphitheaterParking is limited to surface streets in the area. Pets should be left at home.

Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks presents Comedy at the Canyon
      Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks will present Comedy in the Conejo II from 6 to 11 p.m. Sun., June 10 at The Canyon, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. Frasier Smith will be the master of ceremonies for the evening. Other performers are Matt Marcy from the Magic Castle, Andrew Kern, Mike Marino, Tymon Shipp, Steve Seagren and Louis Ashamallah.

Beach trip
     MAKING FUN- Westlake High School students spend Saturday having a great time together as they shop for picnic items to take to the beach. Included in their shopping cart is everything they need to make lots of s'mores and hot dogs, and Janna Van Tamelen holds a ball to toss on the sand.
