The Agoura/Oak Park/ Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Patricia Soteras Scholarship fund reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Tues., June 5 at the Sagebrush Cantina, 23527 Calabasas Road, Calabasas.

L.A. City Councilmember Dennis Zine will be the master of ceremonies.

Scholarships for $500 will be given to high school students from Calabasas, Agoura, Westlake, Oaks Christian, Malibu and Thousand Oaks high schools.

The scholarship fund was set up by the Chamber to honor the past executive director Pat Soteras, who helped build the Chamber from 200 members to more than 1,500.
