At Prudential California Realty's awards banquet last month, owner/ broker Bob Majorino addressed a ballroom filled with management, staff and agents, all of whom awaited a special announcement- the 2006 winner of the Award of Excellence.

"This award is given to only one individual each year, selected as a result of the observations of the management, staff and associates of that person who best exemplifies the consummate professional," said Majorino.

"These are the desired qualities of the winner of this award: a positive supportive attitude, professional image and conduct, consistent work ethic upholding our ideals of excellence in service to the client, the desire to succeed and strong production. This award has become a tradition in our company and therefore demands a special presentation," Majorino said. "For 2006, the Award of Excellence goes to Perry Abourisk. I am so very proud of Perry and the prior years' winners. They are leaders and powerful examples of success and professionalism. I appreciate their loyalty and many years of service to the public through their affiliation with Prudential California Realty."

In his 20-year career, Abourisk has earned many awards for production, most notably the Chairman's Circle Gold Award, which he's won three times. As one of the company's top 20 agents in 2006, Abourisk is again a member of the Gibraltar Circle.

Abourisk also has many years of experience in commercial/retail banking, which is of benefit to his clients as he handles the financial end of complex real estate transactions. He has been coaching youth sports for more than 20 years and is a supporter of sports programs at local schools, donating his time and money to help students and their passion for sports.
