Local B'nai B'rith unit celebrates anniversary
      Haverim B'nai B'rith of the Conejo Valley will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year and has planned three events to commemorate the occasion. The Thousand Oaks City Council will present a proclamation acknowledging the anniversary to the president of the unit at 6 p.m. Tues., May 15.

Supreme Court and the Jewish tradition
      The Conejo Jewish Academy will offer a two-week course titled "Jewish Tradition and the Supreme Court" at 8 p.m. Wed., May 9 and 16 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. There is a $10 course fee. The class, instructed by a panel of attorneys and moderated by Rabbi Moshe Bryski, will examine case law of the U.S.
