Bursting with color

Thousand Oaks has its own spectacle at Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The gates are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. The grounds cover more than four acres and feature gardens representing England, France, Italy, Japan and a California mission courtyard. The outside path is a quarter-mile long. No dogs are allowed, and there's no smoking.
