An emancipated foster youth from Moorpark is one of the first participants in a threeweek European tour sponsored by Support for the Kids.

Support for the Kids is a T.O.based nonprofit that provides tutors, enrichment, cultural events, school supplies and more for foster and underprivileged children throughout Ventura County.

"European Adventures: Paths to Life's Possibilities" is its newest program to provide emancipated foster youth ages 18 and up with a major travel experience that will broaden their perspectives and encourage them in life.

Judy Ann Miyara of Moorpark was selected for the trip, chaperoned by Buzz's Sport Tours of Agoura Hills.

During this trip, more than 20 young people will spend 21 days in June visiting nine European countries.
