Project helps Panther football team

LOYAL TO NPHS- For his Eagle Scout project, Stefan Owechko repaired, patched and repainted two large storage rooms for the Newbury Park High School football team. The larger of the two rooms was converted into a conference room for the coaches. He supervised and led 34 Scouts, friends and others in completing the job. Stefan, the son of Yuri and Sue Owechko, is shown here with Bill Miller, Scouting chairman of the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477.
