Project helps Panther football team
      LOYAL TO NPHS- For his Eagle Scout project, Stefan Owechko repaired, patched and repainted two large storage rooms for the Newbury Park High School football team. The larger of the two rooms was converted into a conference room for the coaches. He supervised and led 34 Scouts, friends and others in completing the job.

CLU students on dean's list for fall 2006
      California Lutheran University named nearly 400 students to the 2006 fall semester dean's honor list. Students qualify by maintaining a 3.5 grade point average in their academic subjects.

Entertainment camp comes to Calabasas
      Registration is taking place for PlanetBravo's Techno-tainment Summer Camp. Oneweek sessions will be held at A.E. Wright Middle School, 4029 Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas, from June 25 through July 30. The camp teaches students a variety of technology skills such as video game creation, web design, robotics, Hollywood movie production and podcasting.

Federated Women host golf tourney; proceeds will fund scholarships for local students
      The Conejo Valley Republican Women Federated will host "A Shot in the Dark" golf tournament Sat., May 19 at the Sinaloa Golf Club in Simi Valley. A $60 golf package includes registration, green fees and globall event T-shirt. Dinner is an additional $35 and will be served at 6 p.m.
