Churches share Holy Week services
      The congregations of Westlake Lutheran Church and the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village will join together for worship services during Holy Week. A Maundy Thursday service with Holy Communion will be at 7:30 p.m. April 5 at the United Methodist Church, 1049 Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Church to present program on protecting innocence
      The Christian Education committee of the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village will sponsor a presentation, "Saving Childhood," from 3 to 5 p.m. Sun., April 1 in Alton Hall at the church, 1049 Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. The speaker will be Eileen Green, coordinator and teacher of parent education at the Conejo Valley Adult School.

St. Pat's Episcopal invites community to celebrate at Holy Week services
      St. Patrick's Episcopal Church presents the following special services for Holy Week. The public is invited, and there is no charge or obligation to attend. Maundy Thursday service from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 5 will include Eucharist and stripping of the altar.

      Living Oaks Community Church invites children age 4 through grade 5 to "Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride Through God's Word," a half-day camp offered from 9 a.m. to noon during spring break., Mon. through Fri., April 9 to 13 at the church, 1033 Business Center Circle, Newbury Park.
